I purchased a new AC System from The Comfort Authority a few years back and have been enjoying it ever since until a week ago when something strange started to happen. Since it’s been chilly for a few weeks, I turned the heat on for the first time in a few months and noticed the heat stopped running very quickly. Soon after that, it would not turn on at all.
When the system was first installed, Peter and his crew did an amazing job. They could not have been any more professional even going to the lengths of putting blue shoe coverings on any time they entered the house. Flash forward 2 years later and the same crew came out with the owner, Steve, to inspect the system after I placed a service call. They took their time and diagnosed the issue as a bad coil which had broken off a main valve. The part was covered under warranty, but not labor which is a common practice among most major AC manufacturers. Steve worked with me to lower the cost of labor which I felt was fair and proper.
The next day, Pete showed up at 9:30 AM to begin the repair. So you know, when you schedule a service call, you are sent a text with a picture of the technician and an eta as to when they will arrive. In addition, they call you to make sure you know they are on the way. Pete must have spent a good 5 hours installing the part and insuring the system worked properly by running the heat and ac until he was satisfied with the performance. He would not leave until he felt comfortable, hence, The Comfort Authority.
If you are skeptical about choosing a company to install or service an ac system, look no further than The Comfort Authority. You’re not only a customer but a part of the family.
