Based on the very high reviews on Yelp, I hired The Comfort Authority to come take a look at my non-functioning air conditioner. They have been nothing short of spectacular! I have seen only a few businesses with such solid communication systems in place in any service industry. Every single person has been extremely prompt and professional. I called on a Monday afternoon and talked to the receptionist then dispatcher whose names I forgot unfortunately, and they had technician Josh call me immediately to discuss specifics about my problem. Josh arranged for the on site technician James to come the very next morning. Being a novice when it comes to HVAC, James clearly showed me exactly why my system was failing due to multiple issues with my 12 year old system. He gave me options to discuss a repair or have a salesperson come talk about replacement. He did not try to pressure me into a new system at all even knowing my system was dead. I chose a new system obviously based on the age of my unit. James called Josh to arrange for salesperson Derick to come over and Derick arrived before James had packed up and left. It was literally less than three minutes. Derick and I walked through my entire house because he wanted to see all my rooms and vents and hear about my cooling complaints and issues in each room. He explained interesting and helpful things like how additions to existing structures often have difficulty with heating and cooling and that based on the size of my home and my preferred temperature that my electric bill should never be over $200 (which it often is during Summer). We looked at the compressor outside and he explained all the pieces and parts and what they each do. He told me all the changes in equipment I would see inside and out with the new system. Derick did not try to upsell me on any single component. He explained how all the units in the US are manufactured and that the basic differences are in the quality of installation. He assured me that the bells and whistles (continuous UV, surge protection, duct sanitization, new thermostat, etc.) were optional and that they could be added later on if I so desired. Derick was not a typical salesman. He was more interested in making me a happy customer than he was trying to increase the bottom line of the sale. He was honest and told me that The Comfort Authority was not the cheapest HVAC contractor (they shoot for a 10% profit vs. 30-40% like some other companies) but that they strive to be the best. It's pretty obvious that their mission has been accomplished. Derick added on the $500+ vent sanitization at no cost because he wanted me to have clean ducts to go along with my new system. The service techs Seth and Bryan came to install my new system the very next day and they were wonderful. They worked nonstop all day in my hot house without even a bathroom or lunch break. They were very pleasant and accommodating and concerned about not disrupting me. Before they left their very personable quality control tech Peter came to check off on their work. This company and its employees are top notch. They even have a system in place where you receive a text prior to their employees' arrival telling you and showing you a photo of who is coming along with a personal bio about them. For example, Derick doesn't like to wear matching socks! This is such a nice touch and I truly have not seen better customer service from any company. Seth, Bryan and Peter left no trace behind them and best of all, my entire house was cool in less than 5 minutes of them flipping the switch. I truly could not give this company a higher recommendation. Please don't call anyone else. Call The Comfort Authority!

First time customer and very satisfied. The service was prompt and excellent with a careful explanation of exactly what the problem was with the ac unit and how to fix it with several different options offered. Just had Comfort Authority install a new system in a 10-year old house we bought recently. The old system worked but poorly. Derek fully explained the problem and the options for updating the system. In fact, he was knew the name of the existing unit before he even saw it because he had done extensive repairs in the neighborhood. Given the clarity of Derek’s explanation of our options and the pricing, we immediately decided to go with Comfort and had a new system installed by the end of the day. The installers were very professional and clean and kept us informed of their progress. New system works like a charm!

I really appreciate the communication and responsiveness of this company. They do offer some upsells but they are not pushy about it. One is a reasonable membership (especially for Florida) that could be beneficial to lots of households. I wish I had purchased my AC from them rather than AND air service through Home depot. That company was a nightmare. If you are deciding between the two, go w comfort authority.

Eric and Anthony did a great job fixing our drain and installing new pipes under the sink. They were very professional, explained what needed to be done and completed the job pretty quick. Very grateful for the crew at Comfort Authority.

Chase Prather did an xcellent job servicing my HVAC. He was prompt, professional and laid out all other optional services available. He was very friendly and took the time to answer all the questions I had. I would highly recommend Comfort Authority for quality HVAC service. Had a problem with the AC in June. Chase returned with another tech Louis. Everything was excellent again. On time and professional. Open to questions and the pics and video were very helpful in showing me what the problem was and that they would be on file for future servicing. Highly recommend this company. Needed service on 3/20 and another great job, this time by Raymond. was on time, comfort authority responded quickly and very thorough explanation of issues. needed a minor fix the next day and came first thing in the morning. Again, highly recommend.
